Significant Activities

Kiwana’s event planner and participant

Kiwana’s Club helps organizations in need by raising funds to support them, the money comes from events that are organized by the students. I was the leader of the game night event that helped raise money for the Ronald McDonald house. In the past 2 years in this club I has spent almost 70 hours inside and outside of the club both in the events that I planned and the events that were planned by the other groups.

Wagner Subaru Lubrication technician

I am currently an employee at Wagner Subaru. I am a Lubrication Technician which manages the Express service bay where vehicles get oil filters and fluids changed without appointment in a short period of time. Once I graduate I will move up to a Specialist Tech, there I will be doing more complex jobs that require a past and understanding in automotive engineering such as Timing belt and water system repairs and system recalls.

Faculty assistant

As a faculty assistant I was tasked with sorting, managing and grading student work that had been done throughout the year along, I also help teach the students subjects that they are learning when they are troubled and do my best to troubleshoot any problems the teacher is having with the class.

DRSS Science Fair Participant

I partook in the DRSS science fair by creating a study on smoke detectors, the differences between them and which ones are best for your home. This experience gave me the ability to create and carryout a complex experiment that required an attention to detail, and ability to write up and carry out a lab designed from scratch. To qualify to be in the science fair I needed to have the complete lab report and a trifold conveying how I did the experiment. These crucial parts showed the process that I took to create my project and what skills it took me to get it done.
